CURBSIDE PICK-UP NOW AVAILABLE!
Curbside pick-up for library materials is now available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or by appointment. When your item is available, you will receive a notification either through text, email, or automated phone call. Please pull up beside our drop box on the east side of the building and call (901) 872-1585 to let us know you have arrived. A staff member will be out to deliver your item shortly.
To reserve an item for pick-up please follow these instructions:
- Search our catalog at www.millingtonpubliclibrary.org for your item, or browse our new selections at the bottom of this page.
- Once you have found what you are looking for, click the “Place Hold” button to the right of the item in our catalog. This will take you to a page prompting you to log in to your library account. Enter your full library card number (the number below the barcode on the back of your card) and 4-digit PIN. Your PIN number is the last 4 digits of the phone number registered with your card. Click the red “Log In” button.
- Make sure that Millington Public Library is selected from the drop-down “Pickup Library” menu and click the blue “Submit Request” button. Congratulations, you have placed your book request! Library staff will pull your item from the shelves and set it aside for you. If your item is coming from Germantown Community Library or Sam T. Wilson Public Library it may take a week before it arrives here in Millington.
- When your item is available you will receive a text, email, or automated phone call notification. We will hold your item for pick-up for up to two weeks. When you arrive at the library please pull up beside our drop box on the east side of the building (the side next to Ritter) and call (901) 872-1585 to let us know you have arrived. A staff member will be out shortly to deliver your holds right to your car window!
