Wolf River Consortium

The Millington Public Library is a proud member of the Wolf River Library Consortium. We are not associated with the Memphis Public Library System.

Our library consortium is a partnership between our Library, Sam T. Wilson Library in Arlington, and the Germantown Community Library. We have a shared online library catalog that makes it very easy for library card holders at all three libraries to borrow books from each library. You can search all three libraries by searching our library catalog on our homepage.

Each of our three libraries send books borrowed by patrons (called “Holds”) back and forth to the libraries via a courier. The courier runs a route that includes other libraries so it can take 7 to 10 days to receive a book from one of our partner libraries. If you are in a hurry to get a book, you may drive to either Arlington or Germantown and use your current Millington Public Library card to pick the item up in person.

*Please ask at our service desk or call us if you need assistance borrowing an item from either of our partner libraries!
